Fun in Portorož
30/5/2008We survived the first live gig. It was extreme fun even though we did not sleep, eat or drink for 3 days. We delivered a sports game for the Lenovo stand and tried to entertain the crowd. Here are some of the moments caught on tape – Enjoy!

Deadline no. 1
11/5/2008Qootia reached its first real deadline. Tomorrow we are going to unveil what was cooked during the last few months.
We are going to do it “silently”, at the biggest Slovene IT event – the NT Conference. We would like to thank all the people that worked long nights, ate huge amounts of sugar, drank immense amounts of Red Bull and cooperated greatly to create a creature, that we all hope will stay with us for a while.
So let’s rock the show!

Qootia.com is online!
7/5/2008Welcome to Qootia. We’ve been cooking Qootia for a while. It has come a long way and we are almost ready to show it to a wider audience.
So what is Qootia?
Qootia is a magic box – a public multimedia channel that visually and audibly communicates with the user. Qootia enables user interaction with public displays simply by using their mobile phone. There is no need to download or install anything on the handset– it just works, by making a simple voice call or leveraging the power of SMS communication.
Did you get that?
Using simple words Qootia is a little piece of software which lets you play with big screens, simply by calling a short number.
At first we will offer a couple of entertaining games and some other candy stuff. After interacting with the display Qootia keeps contact with its users by sending them nice SMS-es containing bonus codes for free drinks, prizes and more.
Where are the Qootia displays?
Just in our basement for now, but we will be present in many cities around Slovenia soon. Expect Qootia to surprise you before a movie in your favorite cinema or while waiting for your BUS or train.
