Qootia made it! We won the HP Communications World Innovation Contest in Vienna.
The competition was tough as Device Anywhere, AdaptiveMobile, McTel, CellVision and SurfKitchen were the other finalists.
We presented the Qootia concept of blending the worlds of digital-signage, web and voice communication by showing Qootia’s capability of replacing traditional digital signage by bringing all needed functionality into the browser.
Live demos included the freshly introduced Qootia-Jukebox and Qootia-Football.
The winner was chosen by the audience present at the event as the presentations were streamed across the whole Austria Center Vienna. Voting was done using voice IVRs and SMS short codes.
We are very proud that our hard work has been recognized with this award. Big thanks to all of you who voted for us. See you soon 
p.s.: Slideshow software was banned, so we just used Qootia in combination with a mobile web administration for the presentation.
